Introducing the perfect nutritious and tasty treat for your pup: homemade blueberry dog treats! Just like blueberries benefit humans, they are equally as beneficial to our furry friends — they're a great source of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. This blueberry dog treat recipe is easy to make, using only four ingredients.
Blueberries are low in calories and contain high amounts of vitamin C and fiber (vital components of proper canine nutrition). Both fresh and frozen blueberries are good options for your dog, but as with all treats, make sure to only feed your dog this fruit in moderation. Just as you would do for any other fruit or vegetable, make sure that the blueberries are thoroughly washed to remove any pesticides or dirt before giving them to your dog.
